Playing Mafia Live should be straight forward. But, anyone who’s played knows it’s not. To create a successful character, it takes determination, patience, fortitude and math. Wait...math? It may seem like an unnecessary and complicated process, but to really make good decisions on real estate purchases, it’s totally crucial. Not many players are utilizing this secret, so be one of the few using these tricks:
Real Estate
Buying real estate isn’t as simple as just forking out the cash for that pretty hot dog stand. It’s actually important to get out the old calculator and make informed decisions. A common mistake players make is to look at the value that each piece of real estate returns rather than the best value for the price. This can prove detrimental and will waste a ton of money. Take the guess work out of it by using this spreadsheet for precise calculations. But, if the spreadsheet can’t be used for any reason, try this simple math:
Amount real estate is to return ÷ the amount of purchase for next property (including land amount)
For example:
Return for 1st Gas Station = $5000 divided by the cost of Commercial Lot & Gas Station = $25000. Therefore, the return = 0.20000.
5,000 ÷ 25,000 = 0.20000 or 2.000%
Return for 1st Shack = $300 divided by the cost of Empty Yard & Shack = $14500. Therefore, the return = 0.20690.
300 ÷ 14,500 = 0.20689 or 2.069%
Obviously, it makes more sense to purchase the shack before the gas station but that won’t always be the case. It’s important to calculate each purchase as the cost of each subsequent piece of real estate will cost more than the previous.
It’s hard to imagine that anyone would put this much time and effort into a game. But, a newbie will soon understand. See, each player is about to embark on a long, comatose journey. So, say goodbye to relationships. Forget about paying attention in class this year. Players are now wise guys; made men. While the world continues to function perfectly around them, they won’t see a second of it. When it’s all said and done, one can only hope to have their name in bright lights right there on the leader boards. So, embrace new ambitions or one might find themselves swimming with the fishes.
